Emogg selected as one of seven startups for the 10th edition of Cuatrecasas Acelera
Emogg will present its solution on 19 February at the Demo Day closing the tenth edition of Cuatrecasas Acelera, after being chosen as one of seven startups from over 100 applications.

Emogg will take part on 19 February in the Demo Day of the tenth edition of Cuatrecasas Acelera, the closing event of the law firm's legal and business acceleration programme, held from 09:15 to 12:30 at the Cuatrecasas auditorium in Barcelona (Av. Diagonal, 191).
The company was selected last autumn as one of the seven startups making up this edition, chosen by an evaluation committee of internal and external professionals from the firm out of more than 100 applications. The final cohort comprises six Spanish projects and one Portuguese, spanning healthtech, insurtech, fintech, energy and deeptech. Emogg is the cohort's only deeptech representative.

Four months of legal and business work
Cuatrecasas Acelera is the open innovation programme through which the firm makes its legal expertise available to ventures that need to validate their legal and business strategy. It sits within Cuatrecasas Innova and is marking ten years of supporting startups across Spain, Portugal and Latin America.
Over the four-month programme, the selected startups have worked with legal mentors from the firm providing individual advice across whichever areas each project needs, at both corporate and technology level. The calendar included two in-person bootcamps — 15 October in Barcelona and 2 December in Madrid — with investment and negotiation simulations, training sessions on tax and employment matters, and work on the regulatory requirements attached to each technology.
Legal mentors for this edition include partners and lawyers such as Albert Agustinoy (intellectual property, technology and digital media), Ariadna Casanueva, Elena Cuatrecasas and Joana Silveira (pharmaceutical and healthcare), Ruth Duque (financial and insurance services), Íñigo Egea (digital economy taxation), Roger Freixes (M&A), Félix Plasencia (public law, energy and infrastructure) and Miguel Sánchez Monjo (finance and fintech).
Francesc Muñoz, CIO of Cuatrecasas, has described the programme as a bridge between the startup ecosystem and the legal world, giving startups the legal tools they need to turn their challenges into sustainable opportunities. Alba Molina, Senior Innovation Project Manager at the firm, has highlighted this tenth edition's commitment to democratising access to specialist legal knowledge and ensuring disruptive technologies are applied responsibly.

Why this kind of support matters in our case
Emogg is a B2B SaaS solution that measures audience response in real time at events, meetings and brand experiences through non-intrusive analysis of visual and behavioural signals, turning that reading into objective data for optimising content, formats and strategic decisions.
Working with audience response places the company in territory where legal robustness isn't an accessory — it's a market requirement. Data protection, minimisation, limited purpose, aggregate analysis, alignment with the European AI framework. These are exactly the conversations a corporate client — and its legal team — raises before signing. Four months of mentoring with specialists in intellectual property, technology and regulation have served to reinforce that perimeter, and to be able to explain it precisely to the people who have to approve it.

What happens at the Demo Day
After the seven projects pitch to a jury of investors and leading figures from the ecosystem, the session will feature the keynote "Lawyers, the first 'vibecoders'" by Omar Puertas, a Cuatrecasas partner specialising in AI implementation, on the leap from generating content with artificial intelligence to delivering reliable results. The event closes with the announcement of the edition's winning startup and a networking breakfast.
The rest of the cohort is made up of Moradai, STAMP, Usawa Care, Iqana, Hair Up Laser and Zenit Solar.
In-person places are limited and require confirmed registration via the event page.
