Experientia produced Telefónica's stand at MWC 2026, held from 2 to 5 March at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona: 951 m² in Hall 3, with 510 m² of exhibition space split across three demos — Mission-Critical Dome, Quantum Telco, and Operational AI & IoT — plus an Ágora crowned by a 15-metre LED ring, which hosted 24 live sessions. The trade show closed its twentieth edition with close to 105,000 attendees from 207 countries. In previous editions, stand measurement had been handled by a non-European provider that did not meet GDPR requirements.

Could the team tell which of the three demos was actually pulling the crowd while the show was still open — rather than once there was nothing left to fix?

Footfall across each of the three demos: totals, hourly bands, and running cumulative figures, updated in real time. Alongside this: dwell time per demo, impacts broken down by duration bands, and occupancy heatmaps for each space. In parallel, Emogg measured attendance at the 24 Ágora sessions and fed a live audiovisual piece that rendered the audience's response inside the stand itself.

Yes — and it surfaced something invisible from the stand entrance: attraction and retention did not line up. Mission-Critical Dome drew the highest footfall, while Quantum Telco recorded the longest dwell times. Across the four show days, the three demos registered 9,177 visits in total.

Telefónica's team accessed live data through the Emogg Analytics dashboard, served by Experientia. Every midday, the team reviewed hourly footfall across the three demos and redeployed commercial staff toward those showing lower traffic, ensuring all three stayed properly staffed and productive. The routine ran on all four days of the congress.

Emogg's solution uses no biometrics and no individual profiling: it measures flow, not people.
